Digital Projection and Public Monuments: New Reproductive Technologies for the Display of Realist Sculpture
«Anna Hyatt Huntington, an american realist sculptor recycled her designs in multiple medium set on wide ranging scales. Highly successful in her lifetime, Huntington was forgotten with the advent of abstraction and modernism. In 2014, after years and years of silence on the artist, the Wallach Art Gallery of Columbia University presented an exhibition of her sculptures featuring a digital rotational projection of her signature monument, the Joan of Arc statue in Riverside Park, New York City.»
